John Davis

John Davis was a remarkable individual who play a significant part in international affairs in the 1930's, 40's and 50's. In the 1960's and 70's he worked as General-secretary of Kent Council Social Services

He was a supportive older cousin to Peter and Joan Dibdin writing to Peter at the time of the death of Lionel and Cecily Dibdin and subsequently being a source of advice to Joan. On many occasions she used to visit Helen and John at their home in Sussex.
