YOUTH AND AGE AT THE BUS STOP

Do you mind moving a bit
You and your beetling hair-do
I can’t see thro’ you
y’know
So shift.

And while I’m about it
may I suggest
a little more restraint
in the perfume line
You pong (phiew)
If there were less of you
less hair
less bosom
less bum

I could begin to feel kinder
towards you
and if you were a little less
young and healthy looking
it would help.

But wait.
That’s torn it.
How dare you
you gaudy bedizened clot you . . .
Officious, interfering
That’s what you are.
Do I look as tho’ I need
helping on to the bus?

You may mean well
But I hate you.
